How often should windows be cleaned?
Customers choose monthly (every 4–5 weeks) or bi-monthly (every 8–9 weeks). We agree a schedule that suits your property when we quote.
Why are my windows wet when you leave?
We finish with a thorough pure water rinse and leave the glass to dry naturally, which is how it dries without marks.
Do you clean frames and sills?
Yes. Our quotation always includes all glass, frames, window sills and doors.
How do I pay?
Most customers pay by GoCardless Direct Debit after each clean, so you do not need to be in.
Roof cleaning
Is softwashing safe for my roof?
Softwashing uses low pressure rather than a high-pressure jet. The right approach still depends on your roof covering and its condition, so we assess before we quote.
Will the moss come back?
It can, but done properly it should be a long time before you notice it. In our experience a roof clean often lasts five years, usually more, and on the right roof ten years or more. Shade, trees and which way the slope faces make the difference, and we will give you an honest view for your roof when we quote.
Do you remove the moss by hand?
Yes. The heavier moss comes off by hand first, then the roof is treated, the gutters are cleared and the waste is taken away.
How do you quote?
We inspect the roof, assess access, and digitally measure the roof area before putting a quotation together.
Render cleaning
Can you pressure wash render?
We generally avoid high-pressure jet washing on render, because it can crack the surface or force water behind the finish. We use low-pressure softwash, chosen after we assess your render.
Can all staining be removed?
Softwash usually makes a real difference to algae and biological staining, but we cannot promise every mark will come out. We will be honest about this at the assessment.
How much does it cost?
Every job is quoted individually from your address and a few photos, so the price reflects your actual property.
Can you pressure wash render?
Sometimes, in limited circumstances, but it is not our default. In most cases we use a low-pressure softwash. Read why.
Block paving
Is re-sanding included?
Yes, on a full block paving clean. Once the paving has dried, fresh kiln-dried sand is brushed into the joints.
Will the weeds come back?
Re-sanding is not a promise that weeds will never return. How quickly growth reappears depends on shade, trees and how the drive is used.
Do you seal driveways?
No. We clean and re-sand.
Resin driveways
Can you clean a resin bound driveway?
Yes. We use a controlled, lighter-pressure wash suited to the resin surface, and where it is part of your job, an agreed treatment afterwards.
Do you use the same method as for block paving?
No. Resin is cleaned differently, and re-sanding is a block paving step, not a resin one.
What is the difference between resin bound and resin bonded?
They are different systems, and we check which one you have before we quote, because it affects how we clean it.
Do you use a treatment afterwards?
Where it is specified for your job. It is not an automatic extra, so your quote says exactly what is included.
