A few simple questions help you tell a careful company from a quick one.
The short answer
Ask what method they will use on your surface, what the quote includes and excludes, how they handle access and neighbours, and what happens if something is not right. Be wary of a quote that does not say what is included.
Questions worth asking

- How will you protect plants, cars and windows?
- What access do you need?
- What happens if I am not happy with the result?
- Can I see photos of similar jobs?
Red flags
Be careful of anyone who wants to use high pressure on every surface, quotes without looking or asking, or will not say what the price includes.
