Brush and rinse with pure water

Glass, frames, sills and doors are brushed to loosen the dirt, then rinsed thoroughly with purified water, working from the ground.

Left to dry clear

We don’t wipe. The purified water has no minerals in it, so it dries without leaving spots or a film.

Then we move on, and we are back on your agreed round.

Why Pure Water Leaves a Cleaner Finish

Ordinary tap water is full of dissolved minerals. When it dries on glass, it leaves them behind as spots and a faint film. That is why a window can look clean when it is wet and smeary an hour later.

We use purified water, which has those minerals removed, so there is nothing left to dry on the glass. The brush does the cleaning, and the rinse does the finishing. Together they leave the glass and the frames clean, without chemicals sitting on your windows.

It’s also why we leave the glass to dry on its own instead of wiping it.

What a regular clean won’t do

A normal clean takes off everyday dirt, not paint, cement, adhesive or old mineral staining. Those need looking at separately. If we spot something like that, we’ll say so, rather than promise something we can’t deliver.

Window Cleaning FAQs

How often will you clean my windows?

Most customers have us every 8 weeks or so, and some choose monthly. We agree a schedule that suits your home when we quote, and we text you the day before every visit.

Why are my windows still wet when you leave?

Because we leave them to dry naturally. We brush the glass, then rinse it thoroughly with pure water, and it dries clear without being wiped. That is how the finish stays free of marks.

Is it just water?

The water is purified, which removes the minerals that leave marks as it dries. But the cleaning itself is done by brushing the glass and frames and rinsing everything away. The brush loosens the dirt and the rinse carries it off.

Are frames, sills and doors included?

Yes. Our window cleaning quote includes the glass, frames, sills and external doors. Anything extra, such as conservatory roofs, is agreed and quoted separately.

Do I need to be in?

Usually not. Many customers are at work. If we need to get round the back, please leave the gate unlocked from 8am on your cleaning day.

How do I pay?

GoCardless Direct Debit is our preferred way to pay, and it means you don’t have to be in. If you will be at home, you can pay by cash, and we can take a bank transfer (BACS) if there is no other option.

What if I notice marks after the windows have dried?

Let us know which window and send a photo if you can, and we will look at what the problem actually is. We would much rather hear about it than have you unhappy.

Can you remove paint, cement or old stains?

Those are different from normal dirt and need looking at separately. A regular clean will not always shift them, so we will tell you honestly what is possible before we quote.

Will you come when it rains?

Rain does not always stop a visit, but we may have to move you if conditions make a good job impossible. We will let you know.
